O’Connor Capital Partners breaks ground this month on a new 55,000-square-foot Burlington Coat Factory store on Osceola Parkway between John Young Parkway and the future Tupperware SunRail station.
Tupperware Brands, through its subsidiary, Deerfield Land Development, has signed on three tenants for Cinque Terre, the 8-acre site at the intersection with Centerview Boulevard. The site, immediately across from The Crosslands shopping center, is in the hotbed of big-box retail development.
The $20 million project also includes a 24 Hour Fitness (40,000-square foot) and a 5,000-square-foot restaurant.
Tupperware Vice President Tom Roehlk told GrowthSpotter that under normal circumstances, Deerfield would have waited for the restaurant lease to be executed before filing for the building permit, but the company wanted to get all three permits approved before the county’s mobility fees kicked in Oct. 1.
The general contractor is Williams Co. The architect is Eleven18 Architecture.
