An Orlando seller of spirits purchased a Winter Park home on Lake Osceola last week from a local distributer of beer and snacks for $4.3 million.
Jess D. Bailes, vice president of ABC Fine Wine & Spirits, and his wife Elizabeth Bailes, bought the 11,370-square-foot home on Chase Avenue from Jeffrey C. Schenck, member of the Schenck Company, a distributor of beer products now named Florida Distributing, according to Orange County property sale records.
The two-story home with 7,041 square feet of living area was built in 2005, with four bedrooms and six baths.
There is also a second building on the property with 760 square feet, with one bedroom and one bath on the 0.91-acre lot.
Orange Property Appraiser records say the home has extra features, including a covered boat dock, a “large elaborate pool” and a fireplace.
The property was not recently listed for sale.The Bailes’ had been leasing the house
with an option to purchase it at a later date, according to an agreement recorded in November 2012.
