Former NBA and Orlando Magic guard Quentin Richardson paid more than $1.734 million on Oct. 28 for a new home in Toll Brothers’ exclusive Casabella at Windermere community.
Set on Isabella Circle a block off of Lake Butler, the 0.67-acre lot includes a new home that is Toll Brothers’ Villa Lago Mediterranean model, which the company describes online as a two-story home with 6,852 square feet, offering six to eight bedrooms, six to seven baths, three to four garage spaces, and features like a gourmet kitchen, walk-in pantry and butlers pantry.
The buyers were Richardson and wife Miya E. Richardson. No mortgage was recorded in the buyers’ names.
The Richardsons sold their previous home on Windermere’s Bellaria Circle in June for $1.5 million
A Chicago native, Richardson played in the NBA for 13 seasons from 2000 through 2013, which included a stint with the Orlando Magic from 2010 through 2012. He is now working in the Detroit Pistons franchise in a scouting capacity.
Richardson is the latest in a string of current or former athletes who’ve bought homes this year in Casabella at Windermere, following NFL linebacker Bruce Irvin in August, and Brazilian soccer legend Rivaldo in May.
