More development is headed to the Oviedo area of Seminole County.
LeCesse Development Corporation just filed a final development plan and preliminary subdivision plan for the multifamily portion of its planned mixed-use project currently located at 3200 State Road 426.
The proposed 269-unit apartment complex, dubbed Avila, will consists of three, three-story buildings and seven detached garages.
The site plan shows a two-story clubhouse at its entrance and a resort-style pool area. Other amenities include a dog park, recreational park and a large fire pit area.
Orlando-based Florida Engineering Group Inc. is the civil engineer.

The 17-acre development site, purchased by LeCesse last year for a total of $4.75 million, sits about a half mile east of S.R. 417.
As part of plans, LeCesse is also prepping about 2.26 acres of land fronting its planned Avila apartment complex to feature up to 28,750 square feet of commercial space.
The developer carved out two lots that straddle the entrance to the Avila apartments that feature entitlements to hold two-story commercial buildings.
Seminole County project manger Joy Giles told GrowthSpotter the development plans are tentatively set to go before county commissioners later this summer.
Once the site and final engineering plans are approved, LeCesse will have a year to commence construction. The new addresses of the buildings will be 2869, 2872, 2880 Avila Cross Circle.
LeCesse has completed several luxury rental communities in the Orlando area, most recently ECCO on Orange in the SoDo neighborhood.
Matthew Gourlay, development manager at LeCesse, did not respond to multiple requests for comment.
The property is located near community shopping centers occupied by retailers and restaurants, such as Publix Super Markets, Kohl’s, Walmart, Starbucks, Tijuana Flats and Miyako Sushi Bar & Hibachi Grill.
It also stands to benefit from its proximity to the University of Central Florida, which lies about 10 minutes southeast of the property.
North of the property, to the west of S.R. 417, developer Marc Hagle is planning to demolish the old Macy’s store at the Oviedo Mall to make room for a new development.
In its place, the developer is seeking rights to build up to 175 age-restricted apartment units, a separate 250-unit apartment community and a 124-room hotel.
