Deloitte Consulting Chairman and CEO Janet Foutty and her husband, Kenton, on May 17 paid $2.385 million for a newly built five-bedroom, 4,700-square-foot limestone house in the Southport Corridor area of Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood.
Foutty, 50, has spent 25 years with the consulting giant and was named CEO at the start of the year.
Built by AK Custom Homes, Foutty's three-story, 10-room house had been listed for $2.399 million. Features include 5-1/2 baths, hardwood floors and a kitchen with an island.
Joy Larkin of the Lowe Group at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff represented the Fouttys in the purchase. Larkin declined to comment on the purchase.
