Former Chicago Bears cornerback Jerry Azumah on Nov. 23 paid $885,000 for a four-bedroom, 3,400-square-foot newly constructed house in Logan Square.

Azumah, 38, played for the Bears from 1999 until 2005. Since retiring, he has worked as a broadcaster and also co-founded a relocation service for athletes, coaches and sports executives.

Azumah's purchase comes just weeks after he sold his three-bedroom, 4,060-square-foot town home in River North for $1.53 million.

Azumah's new house comes with a bit of a yard. The agent representing him, Susan Miner of Premier Relocation, previously told Elite Street that Azumah had chosen to sell the River North town home because he wanted a yard and a detached home.

Built by Denmax, Azumah's new house has 3 1/2 baths, quartz countertops, double-stacked cabinetry, Bosch appliances, floating vanities and porcelain-tiled baths. The house also has a patio and roof deck off its mezzanine level.

The house had been listed for $869,000.

Miner declined to comment on Azumah's purchase.
