Actor Jon Seda, who stars in the Chicago-based TV drama "Chicago P.D.," and his wife, Lisa, recently paid $1.45 million for a four-bedroom, 5,000-square-foot house in the Lakeview neighborhood.

The New York City-born Seda, 45, has starred on the show since it premiered in January 2014 as a spinoff from "Chicago Fire." He previously starred on the late 1990s drama "Homicide: Life on the Street."

Built in 2007, the Sedas' new three-story house has 4-1/2 baths, a Kansas limestone facade, an open floor plan, a kitchen with Miele, Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, and a lap pool in the basement.

The house first had been listed for $1.699 million in mid-2015 and later was repeatedly reduced in $50,000 increments to its final asking price of $1.549 million.
