A developer recently paid $1.865 million for all six units in a Lincoln Park condominium building.
The developer, Padraic Heneghan of Drummin Development, did not respond to repeated requests for comment. However, given strong market demand for apartments and a recent spate of conversions of condominium buildings to apartments, the building at 925 W. Montana Street could be headed toward a similar conversion. Alternately, Heneghan could try to squeeze two new single-family houses on the property.
"Drummin made an offer to the homeowners association to buy the entire building, and we voted to accept it," John Cesarone, one of the sellers, told Elite Street. "We closed on April 1. What they (Drummin) plan to do with it, I have no idea."
