WLS-Ch. 7 sports anchor and reporter Jim Rose and his wife, Lakesha, last week sold their three-bedroom, 2,606-square-foot condominium unit in a luxury high-rise next to Lincoln Park for their $2.075 million asking price.
Jim Rose, 63, has been with ABC 7 since 1982 and currently delivers sports reports on the station's 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. newscasts.
Through a land trust, the couple paid $1.51 million in early 2014 to buy the seventh-floor unit new from the building's developer. Last year, they transferred the condo, in the city's Park West neighborhood, from the trust into their own names, according to public records.
In June, the Roses placed the eight-room unit on the market. The condo has three baths, hardwood floors and several balconies. The sale price includes two garage parking spaces.
Jim Rose did not respond to multiple requests for comment. Listing agent Sarah Taich declined to comment.
