Former Hawk Martin Lapointe lists Hinsdale home for $3.2 million

Former Chicago Blackhawks right wing Martin Lapointe on Friday listed his six-bedroom mansion in Hinsdale for $3.199 million.

Lapointe, 42, skated for the Blackhawks from 2005 until 2008. He worked as a scout for the Blackhawks after retiring and today is the director of player development for the Montreal Canadiens.

Lapointe paid $2.85 million for the three-story, 5,876-square-foot house in 2011. Built in 2008, the house has 6-1/2 baths, radiant heated floors,millwork, a dining room with wainscoting and designer chandeliers, a paneled first-floor office withcoffered ceilings and built-ins, asunroom with a fireplace, a kitchen withCarrara marble, a breakfast room, custom cabinets and a center island, a family room with a wood-beamed ceiling, and a lower level with a rec room and wine cellar.

Lapointe previously listed the mansion for just over six months in 2013 for $3.499 million before pulling it off the market.
