Lakeview house with Twister-themed bathroom relisted for $3 million

A four-bedroom, 6,000-square-foot mansion in Lakeview's Southport Corridor neighborhood whose features include a bathroom themed after the party game Twister was relisted on Feb. 26 for $3 million.

Located on a corner lot, the house, which was built in 2010, has a variety of unusual features, including inlaid wood floors, a floating staircase and a three-story flowing water wall. However, one of its quirkier aspects is a white-tiled bathroom with large circles of different colors on the walls, floors and even the ceiling, all themed after Twister.

The house's owners first listed it in 2013 for just under $5 million and subsequently cut its asking price to $4.75 million, slightly under $4 million and then $3.29 million last year. The house later was removed from the market for several months.

The house also has five indoor fireplaces and one outdoor fireplace, five baths, a home theater and exercise area with a two-person spa, and custom cabinetry.

"The Twister bathroom is definitely one-of-a-kind," said listing agent Michael LaFido of Conlon. "The rest of the house has amazing detail and finishes. It's a perfect home for entertaining."
