South Florida investors plan commercial buildings on Landstar Blvd.

A South Florida investor plans three retail and professional buildings totaling 33,762 square feet of space on Landstar Boulevard just south of Arbor Meadows Boulevard near State Road 417, according to plans filed with Orange County.

A 10,000-square-foot-space would accommodate an anchor with other spaces ranging in size from to 3,000 square feet to 1,190 square feet, with room for up to 13 occupants in all, and two would accommodate drive-thru windows. Each building would stand on its own lot, ranging from 1.2 acres to 4.56 acres.

Orlando-based Interplan LLC is civil engineer on the project and is the applicant on behalf of owner Ranch Investments Inc. of Coral Gables. Coral Rock Development Group, also of Coral Gables, is the developer and English + Associates Architects Inc. of Houston is architect.

The project is to be completed in one phase, according to plans, with the development having access to Rhode Island Woods Circle as well.  It’s located north of a Walgreens at the corner of Landstar and Rhode Island; a 1.3-acre parcel in between is owned by Fifth Third Bank, which purchased it in 2007 from Ranch Investments for $2 million, according to county records.

Elevations show structural awnings covering entrances and drive-thru windows. The center is just west of the Arbors at Meadow Woods residential development with townhomes and single-family homes by Meritage Homes.
