Orlando Sentinel Media Group's GrowthSpotter was honored on Friday with the Silver Award (2nd place) for "Best Website" in the country amongst real estate-focused news outlets from the National Association of Real Estate Editors (NAREE) at its annual summer conference, held June 14-17 in Denver.
Hundreds of entries were filed in the 67th annual NAREE Journalism Competition this past spring, with awards given in 32 categories spanning print and digital focuses, as well as individual and team efforts.

The judges' remarked that GrowthSpotter "is a broad spectrum report on real estate development in Central Florida. It covers not only residential and commercial real estate but also retail. It is a high-value guide to one of the nation's fastest growing regions."
The 1st place winner for "Best Website" was The Wall Street Journal.
