Growthspotter hosted a networking event for subscribers at Island Grove Wine Co. at Formosa Gardens in Kissimmee.

Island Grove Wine Company at Formosa Gardens welcomed GrowthSpotter subscribers to an exclusive VIP wine tasting and networking event Tuesday night.

Winery owner George Chen has just completed the $7 million winery and event space, and the official grand opening is Sept. 27. The 12,900-square-foot venue features Island Grove's award-winning blueberry and fruit-infused wines and a rotating selection of seasonal craft beers.

The mixer brought together a variety of industry leaders in hospitality, real estate, planning and development.

Located at 3011 Formosa Gardens Blvd. in Kissimmee, the Formosa Winery has 3,000 square feet of private meeting space, as well as its own bistro, theater room, botanical garden and wine bottling operation.

Keesee Associates, the project architect, and Kissimmee-based engineering firm Hanson Walter & Associates co-sponsored the event.
