Kissimmee developer Thomas Chalifoux has is planning a new flex industrial project just north of Kissimmee Gateway Airport.
Chalifoux and his son and business partner, Niles, filed construction plans in late January with the city to build 57,400 square feet of small-bay flex warehouse space on the 2.26-acre site. The project is scheduled to go to the city's Development Review Committee next week.
The complex would consist of four separate buildings ranging in size from 11,700 to 14,000 square feet, and it would be constructed in two phases. The buildings would comprise a total of 15 bays, each is designed with a finished front office.
Chalifoux is working with Cycorp Engineering Inc. on the plans. His affiliated T & H Holdings II purchased the property in 2007 for $835,000. In late 2017, his Chalifoux paid $1.85 million for 22 acres at the southwest corner of Orange Blossom Trail (U.S. 17-92) and S. Poinciana Boulevard., a quarter-mile from the Poinciana SunRail station.
