New development plans in Lake Nona are under review by the city of Orlando for a local dental office relocation, a new 7-Eleven and the next phase of home lots for Laureate Park.
To be located at 9854 Tagore Place, the proposed 9,000-square-foot medical office would lie directly behind a Wendy's and RaceTrac that now front Narcoossee Road.
The parcel is under contract for sale but has not yet closed, according to Jessi Blakley, Tavistock spokeswoman. McCree Architects & Engineers LLC has led project design.
Nona Smiles currently leases inline space four miles to the north in a multi-tenant retail and office building, at 9145 Narcoossee Road. Owners of the business did not respond to requests for comment on Tuesday.
The prospective new dental office site lies northeast of another undeveloped tract on the south end of Lake Nona Landing, planned for development as a new indoor soccer facility and gymastics studio.
Plans were also filed earlier this month for a new 7-Eleven for a 0.5-acre site at 7675 Lake Nona Blvd., at the intersection with Lake Nona Gateway Loop and near the new Drive Shack golf entertainment center.
Tavistock also filed a preliminary plat for Phase 4 of Laureate Park to subdivide for 192 residential lots/units.
Totaling 84.23 acres, the Phase 4 area would extend the southern end of Laureate Park, and be divided up as 30.52 acres for residential area, 6.38 acres of open space, and 47.33 acres for public roads, stormwater retention and conservation tracts.
A lot summary for Phase 4 is broken down by width as nine 30-foot-wide lots, nine of 40 feet, 52 of 45 feet, 35 of 50 feet, 42 of 55 feet, 13 of 70 feet, nine "Big House" attached multifamily concept homes, 20 townhomes, and three 75-foot-wide lots.
Tavistock's Rob Adams, vice president of residential development, said Phase 4 of Laureate Park would be complementary to the current phases with a mix of currently approved builders and home styles.
