Subscribers: RSVP for Sept. 19 wine & craft beer tasting at Island Grove Wine Co.

We invite you to join GrowthSpotter at our first VIP networking event in Greater Orlando's tourism corridor.

Island Grove Wine Company at Formosa Gardens will open its doors to our subscribers for an exclusive wine and beer tasting from 6-8 p.m. on Sept. 19 -- a week before the official grand opening.

Attendance is limited to roughly 200 guests, so please RSVP through this link as soon as possible. Attendance is free, and each guest will receive one complimentary drink ticket and a refillable card that can be used to sample dozens of wines from the tasting room's automated dispensers.

Winery owner George Chen has just completed the $7 million winery and event space in August. The 12,900-square-foot venue features Island Grove's award-winning blueberry and fruit-infused wines and a rotating selection of seasonal craft beers.

"We'll be hand-bottling some of our most expensive wines here on site," Chen said. "We're going to bottle an ice wine and a port, and we're going to make mead with honey from our own apiary."

The new winery building has its own theater and 3,000 square feet of private meeting space. It also has catering kitchen, bride and groom suites, a bistro, and a heart-shaped garden, which can accommodate up to 630 seated guests.

Located at 3011 Formosa Gardens Blvd. in Kissimmee, the winery overlooks the new Margaritaville Resort. Future plans call for a vacation home resort, microbrewery and boutique hotel.

RSVPs will be accepted only from active subscribers of GrowthSpotter, who can each bring one guest.
