California building supply company may be coming to Orlando

The vacant parcel at 2140 N John Young Parkway may be destined to be a showroom for quartz, glass, limestone and other tile and stone materials.

A company that helps give homes their interior "look" may be coming to town.

The principals of Bedrosians Tile and Stone, through a limited liability company, paid $1.7 million for a 3-acre vacant commercial property at 2140 N John Young Pkwy, property records show.

Larry E. Bedrosian, president of Bedrosians Tile and Stone, and Janice Bedrosian, the company's comptroller, jointly made the purchase under an LLC called Paragon California. Bedrosians Tile and Stone is headquartered in Fresno, Calif., and has stores across the country.

In Florida the company has stores in Miami and Deerfield Beach and a distribution center in Jacksonville, which could serve Orlando if the Bedrosians were to set up shop here.

On Friday, Larry E. Bedrosian's executive assistant said Larry and Janice were both away for the weekend and unavailable.

Bedrosians Tile and Stone imports and distributes tile and setting materials to contractors and builders. The company says it provides ceramics, quartz, glass, granite, limestone, marble, porcelain, quarry, quartzite, resin/metal, slate and other tiles for commercial, institutional, industrial, or residential projects.

The purchase was made from CD83 Contractors Business Park Orlando LTD, whose mailing address is the Maitland office of Taurus Investment Holdings, LLC, a global investor, developer, and operator of commercial and residential real estate.
