A veteran Brazilian television show host and his wife paid $700,000 recently for an undeveloped lakefront lot in Emerson Pointe, next to a multi-million dollar home they already own.

Located on Emerson Pointe Way in the guard-gated community of Emerson Pointe, the roughly half-acre lot and home next door feature rear frontage on Lake Chase of the Butler Chain of Lakes, and are within a mile of the Isleworth Country Club and Bay Hill Golf Club and Lodge.

The buyers were Amaury de Assis Ferreira Junior and wife Celina de Camargo Ferreira.

Brazilians buy remaining land at stalled Orlando condo project, plan final two bldgs

Early insight on the lakefront condominium project that foreign developers are restarting, and opportunity ahead for an architect and builder.

Known in Brazil as "Amaury Jr.," Ferreira is a host of late-night entertainment TV shows that cover Brazilian nightlife, celebrities and high-society parties and events. He has written multiple books in Portuguese about his career as a TV presenter, and "behind-the-scenes" stories of Brazilian celebrity lifestyles.

The Ferreiras own the home next door, having paid $2.1 million in 2010 for a two-story, 5,069-square-foot home built in 2008. The seller was Bay Hill Developments (North Bay) Inc., an affiliate of developer Emerson International of Altamonte Springs.

That home features five bedrooms and six baths, hardwood and tile floors, a swimming pool and hot tub, surround sound system, country club access, balcony deck and boat dock.

The undeveloped lot was sold by Emerson's same land owner affiliate that has developed Emerson Pointe. No construction plans for the vacant lot have been filed with Orange County, as of Friday.
