A former lead executive in sales and marketing for Pulte Homes paid more than $1.2 million earlier this month for a new home in the gated Casa del Lago neighborhood of Windermere.
Located on Montalcino Circle on a 0.2-acre lot, the two-story Transitional style custom home features four bedrooms and four-and-a-half baths across 4,285 square feet of conditioned area.
Highlights inside include a library with porcelain wood flooring, wood-beamed ceilings, fireplace and porcelain plank-style flooring, gourmet kitchen with walk-in pantry, and a rainforest shower and free-standing tub in the master bedroom.
Outdoor living space features a raised heated spa, swimming pool and travertine decking. Much of the area is covered with a gas fireplace and summer kitchen with grill and fridge.
The buyers were Bob Benninger and Sara Anne Benninger. Bob worked for more than 36 years at Pulte from 1971 through 2007, with his most notable title being vice president of sales and marketing.
Since 2007, Benninger has operated as a consultant for new residential housing companies to coach their division managers in the art of sales and marketing management.
The home was built by Element Home Builders of Winter Garden, which previously paid $180,500 for the lot in 2014. It was under contract last year prior to construction, and closed in early July after a certificate of occupancy was issued.
Mauro Costa of Premier Realty Partners served as listing agent, and Steve Healy of the same firm represented the buyer.
