Orlando Magic center Nikola Vucevic paid $2.5 million on March 30 for a Phil Kean Designs LEED Gold Certified-home on a gated peninsula in Bay Hill.
The home is just a few blocks away from another Bay Hill home that Magic guard Victor Oladipo bought in mid-March for $1.18 million. The deed was recorded Wednesday in Orange County.
Located in the 9000 block of Bay Point Drive, Vucevic's waterfront property lies on Lake Tibet in the Bay Hill community, near Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Golf Club and Lodge.
Set on a 0.33-acre parcel, the two-story home built in 2013 boasts four bedrooms, 4.5 baths, and 7,535 gross square feet. The home features lakefront views from nearly every room, with a wall of disappearing glass doors in the family room that lead out to a spacious covered lanai and pool with remote screens, according to a web listing.
The second floor features a master suite with remote black-out drapes, a master spa bath with lake views, double walk-in closets and a laundry room. A fitness room and media room with wet bar are also on the second.
Vucevic bought the home through a holding company created by Jaafar Choufani, a local attorney, restauranteur and sports agent.
The property was sold by Alberto Juan Bartolomei, who previously paid $2.075 million in February 2006.
Vucevic acquired a $900,000 loan from DB Private Wealth Mortgage Ltd., a subsidiary of Deutsche Bank Trust Company Americas out of New York.
