Former Orlando City owner sells Isleworth mansion for $5 million

An Isleworth Country Golf & Country Club estate at 5507 Worsham Court in Windermere, once owned by former Orlando City Soccer owner Flavio Augusto da Silva, sold for $5 million in February.

After selling the Orlando City soccer club last year, including the Lions, the Pride and Exploria Stadium, Flávio Augusto da Silva has sold his Windermere home for $5 million.

Located in the exclusive Isleworth Golf & County Club, the 10,200-square foot mansion went to new owners Steven and Jessica Hargrove for exactly what Augusto da Silva and his wife, Luciana, paid for the property in 2009.

The house at 5507 Worsham Court first went on the market in July 2020 for $5,959,000, though that listing was removed, according to Century 21 real estate agent Shirlei DeVito, who handled the sale, says it was on the market for around nine months before the sale.

Sitting on the 14th green of Isleworth’s award-winning golf course, the 5-bedroom property features floor-to-ceiling living room windows with golf-front views, as well as cathedral ceilings, a heated pool and spa, a movie theater and a marble staircase.

Steven Hargrove, who sold his College Park home to make this move, said he was attracted to the home and community for his family.

“The quality of the home and the open floorplan of the kitchen, dining and family room is perfect with our three young children,” he said. “The theater gets a lot of use as does the kids’ play room and large pool.”

Augusto da Silva, who said in an interview with the Orlando Sentinel last year that he was not leaving the area, will move into a larger house in Isleworth on which he began construction in 2016.

Completed in 2019, the new mansion at 9538 Blanche Cove Drive sits on 13 acres on the bank on Lake Blanche and features more than 25,000 square feet of air-conditioned space.

The land for the new property cost $2.6 million, and the home is valued at $9,750,403, according to the Orange County Property Appraiser.

Augusto da Silva brought the Orlando City franchise to Orlando in 2014. He financed the construction of the $155-million Exploria Stadium, which was completed in 2017.
