Orange County is seeking a construction firm to lead office space renovation at the Orange County Fire Rescue Department's headquarters, with the value pegged at $252,000, according to an Invitation for Bids (IFB) issued this week.

Located at 6590 Amory Court in Winter Park, the project would cover renovation and reconfiguration work in multiple rooms on the first and second floors.

Built in 1994, the Fire Rescue Headquarters building has nearly 56,000 square feet of conditioned area.

Only firms with offices in Orange, Lake Seminole and Osceola counties are eligible for Orange County certification, and they must be certified with the county prior to bid opening.

Bid applications are due Nov. 7, at 2 p.m. at the county's Procurement Division office in Downtown Orlando.

Full documents for IFB no. Y18-713-CC can be found through the county's Open Bids page of its Procurement Division webpage.

Borrelli + Partners has been architect on the project thus far, and Matern Professional Engineering the civil engineer.
