Providence One Partners to build new HQ office in Colonial TownPark

One of the original developers of Colonial TownPark in Lake Mary has acquired the last vacant parcel and plans to start construction in March on a new 10,000-square-foot office building.

Providence One Partners purchased the 0.9-acre lot in August and is awaiting final permit approvals from Seminole County for the two-story building on Colonial Center Parkway.

"We plan on taking half the second floor for our offices and leasing out the rest," Principal Michelle Pierce told GrowthSpotter

Pierce and partner, Tom Green, both worked at Colonial Properties Trust, the original developer of the mixed-use development. Pierce headed up the residential division, while Green led the commercial division. CPT was later acquired by MAA.

"My partner, Tom, was really the man behind the vision of Colonial Town Center," Pierce said. "It's really kind of sweet justice that we'll have our office building here. We left to start our own company, and now we're celebrating our 10th anniversary. We're proud to have our own building."

The project team includes Forum Architecture and American Civil Engineering Co

Providence One specializes in active adult, assisted living (ALF) and memory care facilities. The company is currently building Sage Park, a $30 million ALF in Kissimmee near The LOOP.

Each facility has restaurant-style dining, plus a bistro and full bar, a craft room, fitness center, movie theater and full service spa. Each community is also pet-friendly.

The company recently completed a Symphony-branded ALF/memory care in Stuart and is building another in Delray Beach.
