Beazer Homes pays $2M for land near future Osceola Parkway Extension

Beazer Homes paid $2 million for these parcels, totaling 36 acres, in the Buena Ventura Lakes area of Osceola County.

Beazer Homes has paid $2 million for two parcels totaling 36 acres on Boggy Creek Road in the Buena Ventura Lakes area, near the future Osceola Parkway Extension.

The property was rezoned last year to Low Density Residential. The larger parcel is 34 acres and has an approved preliminary subdivision plan from Osceola County for a 150-lot subdivision called North Isle. The sellers were Thomas Barber, Virginia McLamb and William Barber, all of Stephenville, Texas.

The homebuilder also bought a neighborhing 2.4-acre parcel for $288,700.

The site is a third of a mile from the intersection of Boggy Creek and Osceola Parkway, and abuts the Villa del Sol community. It's just east of Saratoga Park, another Beazer community.

Beazer currently has eight active communities in the Orlando market, including Gatherings of Lake Nona, but none in Osceola County.

Beazer officials did not respond to requests for comment.
