The homebuilder filed a Preliminary Subdivision Plan (PSP) and Site Development Plan (SDP) with Osceola County in May for the parcel at the the southeast corner of Westside Boulevard and Goodman Road. Those plans are still in review. The property abuts Phase 1 of the resort community.
The plans call for a mix of 194 townhomes and vacation homes to be built in two subphases. All homes and townhomes would have private pools. Pulte would add more amenities, including a playground and soccer field. A bike trail would link the neighborhood to Phase 1, which has the community's main clubhouse and resort amenities.
The hard corner at Goodman and Westside was reserved for commercial development, and plans have been filed with the county for a 7 Eleven store.
Pulte is currently building Phase 2 of the community on land it acquired in 2015, and entitled for 330 units.
The Westside corridor has attracted several national builders in the last two years.
- D.R. Horton's 350-lot Murano community is in development now at the intersection of Sand Mine Road and Westside.
- Magnolia at Westside, a 245-home community also on Sand Mine, is now being built by KB Homes and K. Hovnanian Homes.
- Mattamy Homes owns 241 acres spanning both sides of Westside Boulevard, including the land immediately south of Windsor. Mattamy is building Solara at Westside, a 900-plus unit vacation home resort.
