Pulte Homes is moving forward with the second phase of its townhouse section at the popular Lakeshore at Narcoossee community in St. Cloud.

The builder paid $5 million last week to buy the 9-acre parcel on Narcoossee Road, next to Narcoossee Elementary School.

The plat hasn't been recorded yet, but Pulte vice president of land Clint Ball told GrowthSpotter the Lakeshore community is approved for a total of 200 townhomes. The first phase of townhomes has already been completed.

The subdivision also will have 216 single family homes at buildout. Pulte had been buying finished lots each quarter from landbanker Sun Terra Communities. Pulte bought out the remaining lot inventory in January for $4.3 million.

The homebuilder paid $1.6 million this week for 18 finished lots in the gated St. Cloud subdivision.

The community offers access to East Lake Tohopekaliga via Fells Cove. The townhomes start at about $220,000, have rear-loaded garages and offer an optional third floor.

Pulte launched two new subdivisions in northeast Osceola County this year. The first on Boggy Creek Road is slated for 221 homes. The second is located on Cyrils Drive in East Narcoossee, and is approved for 197 lots.

The builder also has a 136-unit townhouse project in the works in Apopka.
