Tramell Webb files subdivision plan for 406-acre community in Osceola

Orlando-based Tramell Webb Partners is seeking approvals for more than 1,000 homes on a 406-acre parcel just south of Kissimmee, and east of Lake Tohopekaliga.

The developer will go before Osceola County's Development Review Committee on Wednesday for approval of the preliminary subdivision plan for Bellview. The site is located on the east side of Ham Brown Road (CR 535), directly across from Horizon Middle School.

Tramell Webb rezoned the property last summer to Low Density Residential. The developer will fulfill a Comprehensive Plan requirement to build an east-west road that connects Ham Brown to Pleasant Hill Road (CR 531).

The subdivision plan calls for 1,018 single family homes, to be built over six phases. The first phase includes 175 homes on 50-foot lots. Later phases include 60-foot lots, and the final phase calls for 228 homes on 40-foot lots.

Tramell Webb, is known for employing new urbanism design concepts at Horizon West and Turtle Creek, a 250-acre community in St. Cloud.
