Goldelm, Colorado Springs-based company that specializes in management and development of premium apartment complexes, has purchased West Winds Apartments in MetroWest for $26 million.
The family-owned company owns and manages apartment communities in Florida, Colorado and Nevada. West Winds, located just off Kirkman Road, is the latest apartment complex near Universal Studios to sell this year. The purchase price equates to $96,000 for each of the 272 units. The complex was built in 1983.
Wells Fargo provided financing for the deal.
Goldelm often partners with the Michaelson Real Estate Group to manage its Florida properties. Michaelson CEO Michael Moses told GrowthSpotter in October the company was looking to acquire more multifamily product in MetroWest.
In September, Michaelson Group bought the 472-unit Island Club Apartments at 1401 S. Kirkman Road for nearly $45 million. Considered the largest residential property in the MetroWest submarket, Island Club is now undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation.
