Less than a year after AV Homes launched Phase 5 at Solivita, the developer has filed preliminary plans for another 165 lots in the active adult community.
In February, the homebuilder submitted engineering plans to the South Florida Water Management District for a 209-acre parcel in the southwest corner of the Cypress Parkway-Solivita Parkway intersection. The project is in the Polk County portion of the Poinciana neighborhood, and is divided into five segments.
The first two segments, 5A and 5B, included 250 single family home lots on 93 acres. The engineering plans prepared by Carnahan Proctor and Crossshow another 165 lots on the 71-acre segment 5H, directly south of 5A and 5B.
Two other segments -- 5C and 5D -- are reserved for future development.
Solivita is an award-winning, 4,300-acre retirement community with its own town center, country club and two golf courses.
