Lennar Homes paid $1.4 million this month to buy more finished lots in Osceola's Harmony development.
The homebuilder already offers 15 different floor plans in two of Harmony's neighborhoods with prices ranging from $212,990 to $315,990. The 11,000-acre community on U.S. 192 southeast of St. Cloud is a green-certified development featuring its own golf course and marina on Buck Lake.
D. R. Horton, Richmond American Homes and Regatta are also building in the community. Lennar paid master developer Starwood Land Ventures more than $47,000 per lot for 30 lots near Harmony Middle School.
Lennar is also active in Kissimmee's Storey Lake community at 4600 W. Osceola Pkwy. and at ChampionsGate. The builder began selling homes at Storey Lake in late 2014. Planned are 2,000 residences with estate homes running $263,000 to $373,000 while Cove Vacation Villas are $394,000 to $415,000.
