Toll Brothers told Growthspotter on Wednesday the builder is planning 70 single-family homes east of Lake Mary, set to open for sale early next year.
“It’s the first time we’ve been in Seminole County in almost eight years,” said Brock Fanning, Senior Vice President of Toll Brothers’ Central Florida division.
Square footage for homes set on 40-foot lots will range from 1,400 to 2,500 square feet for 1- and 2-story homes, with Fanning expecting prices to begin in the mid to high $200s. It’s Toll Brothers’ first project on 30-foot homes, he said. A standard amenity package will include a community pool and cabana.
“We think there’s high demand for homeowners in that area, looking for their first homes or also some move-up buyers as well,” Fanning said.
Oviedo-based Brockman Site Development is performing early work, Fanning said, its first time working with Toll Brothers. Other companies are still being selected to work on the yet unnamed project.
The site is in unincorporated Seminole County just south of Lake Mary Boulevard on Skyway Drive north of Kentucky Street, south of Orlando Sanford International Airport and Boombah Sports Complex, and west of Lake Jesup Conservation Area.
“We want to do business there ... there’s not a lot of properties left,” Fanning said, adding he and land acquisition manager Dustin Bowersett continue to seek site opportunities for Toll Brothers in the Metro Orlando area. Currently the developer's projects in the region include two in west Orange County, Royal Cypress Preserve southwest of Windermere and Lakeshore south of Winter Garden.
