Fourth Applebee's to be built in Orlando's tourism corridor

Highlighted in blue, the parcel set for a new Applebee's lies just south of SeaWorld property, with frontage on International Drive.

A new Applebee's is coming to Orlando, to be built southwest of the intersection of Central Florida Parkway and International Drive.

The 6,942-square-foot restaurant will sit on 1.7 acres at 11036 International Dr. in the Dolphin Plaza shopping center, and will join three other Applebee's in the tourism corridors of I-Drive and W. U.S. 192.

The project is an in-house one. Neighborhood Restaurant Partners, LLC of Atlanta, an Applebee's offshoot, is the developer and leasee. Hill Foley Rossi and Associates of Duluth, GA., is the architect.

The developer could not be reached for comment on the project's timeline.

The landowner is listed as Bettja Jebailey, an LLC affiliated with the principals of Orlando-based Phoenicia Development, a firm also developing the remaining parcels of its 39-acre Orchid Bay property roughly a mile south of this site on I-Drive, as GrowthSpotter reported on Aug. 21.

Applebee's itself is headquartered in Kansas City, Mo.
