Disney announces new retail tenants at Flamingo Crossings

Disney has announced more tenants confirmed for Flamingo Crossings Town Center, a master-planned development at the western gateway of Walt Disney World Resort. Once the approximately 200,000-square-foot retail hub is completed, visitors will discover a balanced mix of more than 40 familiar brands.

Flamingo Crossings spans about 450 acres along Walt Disney World’s western entrance and will feature about 1,300 multifamily units planned for its college intern program and 5,000 hotel and timeshare rooms.

Newly announced retail tenants for the mixed-use project include:

· Pita Mediterranean Street Food

· Starbucks

· Simply Capri

The national multifamily developer wants to build 472 apartments next to Flamingo Crossings Village, adding to its 352-unit Westerly apartment complex under construction nearby.

As previously announced, AdventHealth is also constructing a $15 million freestanding emergency room, which will be staffed by a comprehensive clinical team including board-certified emergency physicians and emergency nurses. The emergency room in the town center will be a new concept in primary care called AdventHealth PrimaryCare+. The emergency department will serve both Disney guests and the community when it opens in 2022.

These tenants are joining previously announced retail and dining options. Those include 7-Eleven, Ben & Jerry’s, Bento Asian Kitchen + Sushi, Domino’s, Dunkin’, Ellie Lou’s Brews & BBQ, Firehouse Subs, Five Below, Five Guys, Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ Dining, PDQ, Persimmon Hollow Brewing Company, Pieology Pizzeria, Target, The UPS Store, Walgreens and Wendy’s.
