Gourmet Winter Park coffee shop CFS will open three more stores this year, starting with a downtown Orlando location at Church Street Market.
Short for "Coffee Frutos Selectos," CFS specailizes in Colombian-grown coffee, desserts and empanadas. The menu also includes a variety of healthy options, such as salads, arepas, fruit bowls and avacado toast.
Millenia Partners principal Luciano Medeiros, who is representing the business in its site selection, told GrowthSpotter the Church Street store would open in late August or early September. The space is next to California Tortilla, on the ground floor of the 55 West apartment tower.

Orlando franchisee Paola Bornacelli opened the Winter Park store at 430 W. New England Ave. in 2016 and is planning the local expansion, to be followed in 2019 by market entries in Miami and Tampa.
"We have plans to go national -- at the right time," Medeiros said.
Bornacelli is pursuing locations in four other local submarkets this year, he added.
The Blackstone Group paid $105 million last year for the 33-story, mixed-use 55 West tower, along with the ground-floor multi-tenant retail space and second-floor office space. Other tenants include Rusty Spoon, Graffiti Junction, Jersey Mikes and 7 Eleven.
