The new 420-foot Starflyer spinning swing will be coming to the Vue at 360, a development project on the site known as Gooding's Plaza, near the intersection of International Drive and Jamaican Court.

It will be the largest swing ride in the world and will replace a smaller Starflyer attraction (236 feet tall) found at Magical Midway entertainment center, which is located at 7001 International Drive and owned by the same developers of the new Starflyer.

The project is still in the planning and rezoning phase. It requires an amendment to the Gooding's Plaza P.D. ("Planned Development") to allow for an attraction ride and a structure of this height. Amending the P.D. requires approval by the Orange County Board of Commissioners, a hearing that could occur as soon as June, said Ritchie Armstrong, developer and head of Orlando Starflyer LLC, a new company created to operate the attraction.

The Vue at 360 will be the new name for an existing complex with the existing Charley's Steak House, Sleuths Mystery Dinner Show and King's Bowling, all of which should remain operating there. Orlando-based developer Unicorp National Developments owns the property and is leasing it to Orlando Starflyer LLC.
